Different Security Policies And Guideline And How They Are...
In this report I will be talking about different security policies and guideline and how they are needed in an organisation. The first one I will be talking about will be the disaster recovery policy, what this policy is basically about is that the organization will have so kind of plan or strategy put in place for things like natural disasters for example floods, fire, earthquake and things like theft and major human error that can cause major data loss, which and ultimately impact the organization security and the functions the organization provides. What this disaster recovery policy might have in it is if a natural disaster or a virus enters the organization one police can be to basically move all the data to an off-site locationâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦This disaster recovery will have major benefits as if things happen it will not affect the organisation that much but if a disaster recovery plan is not but in place it could shut down the business. The advantages of the disaster recovery policy is that it reduce the loss of data because the organisation back up there data early so if a disaster occurs no data will be lost. Another thing is an organisation can use an offsite place to back up data. The disadvantages of the disaster recovery plan policy is that when the organisation is having daily backups it is costing the company a lot of money to have them in place , as it will always need someone to look and maintain this recovery plan. Another disadvantage is that when the backups are happening it can ultimately slow down the system and affect the employees work as it will take more time to do their tasks. The next policy I will be talking about I will be explaining is code of conduct this is a very important guideline in an organization that all the workers has to obliged to the guideline, to try and improve the organization security, there are many policies put in place by the organization so the employees follow the code of conduct guideline one policy is installation this policy is about that employees canââ¬â¢t install software on the organizationââ¬â¢s computer, they are not allowed to install it

The Federal Government s Debt Essay - 883 Words
The federal governmentââ¬â¢s debt is the total value of all outstanding government bonds and the accumulation of past deficits. Before the federal government had assumed the liabilities of CMHC which was $236,708 million dollars as of September 30, 2015 and the liabilities of commercial banks, growth in Canadaââ¬â¢s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) had been forecasted to be low due to continual fall in oil prices in the last six months which has lead to a significant depreciation in the value of the Canadian dollar and considerable declines in the federal government revenue. â⬠¢ The Department of Finance had estimated that a one per cent fall in Real GDP growth could lead to a decline in government revenues of about $5.3 billion dollars. Government expenditures have been expected to be a moderate $0.8 billion which would result in a net federal deficit of $4.8 billion dollars over the next year. With the accumulation of CMHC and the commercial banks liabilities the Canadian federal governmentââ¬â¢s debt to GDP ratio is now at an all time high. â⬠¢ In its 2014 Budget, the government of Ontario announced its plans to invest more than $130 billion in infrastructure over the next 10 years. This plan was expected to support over 110, 000 jobs per year and to reduce traffic congestion in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area that costs the province between $6 to $11 billion dollars per year. â⬠¢ Current and potential creditors are concerned about the risk of the federal government defaulting on itsShow MoreRelatedThe National Government Of A Country Essay1622 Words à |à 7 PagesThe National Government of a country consists of various characteristics, procedures, positions, and beliefs, that create a great comparison to such traits of a complex business. Balls Splouge Vegina free essay sample
Some of the most important messages a story of any kind can deliver go unnoticed amongst the readers. Sometimes they can be as small as a single line in an entire play. Sometimes the biggest message can be compiled into a single word. In Shakespeareââ¬â¢s play, A Midsummer Nightââ¬â¢s Dream, the word ass is used as symbolism and demonstrates to the reader how a change in someoneââ¬â¢s personality can be liked by one person equally as much as it can be hated by another person. At the beginning of the play, Bottom is introduced as a good looking character but with a very ugly personality. ââ¬Å"You can play no part but Pyramus. For Pyramus is a sweet faced man, a proper man as one shall see in a summerââ¬â¢s day, a most lovely, gentlemanlike man. Therefore you must needs play Pyramus. â⬠The speaker of this line is Quince addressing a request from Bottom to play another part in the play that they are putting on for the Duke and Duchess. We will write a custom essay sample on Balls Splouge Vegina or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page This line proves to the reader that Bottom is a good looking, proper man because Quince says that he fills the requirements. Even though his appearance might be good looking, his egoistic personality is the exact opposite. ââ¬Å"That will ask some tears in the true performing of it. If I do it, let the audience look to their eyes. I will move storms. I will condole in some measure. To the restYet my chief humor is for a tyrant. I could play Ercles rarely, or a part to tear a cat in to make all split. â⬠(I. ii. 9-23)These lines are all Bottom describing to his fellow actors how great he is at being dramatic while he is acting. Bottom proves that this is just hot air during the actual performance at the end of the book but this quote obviously demonstrates that Bottom has no sense of humility. Since the next line Quince simply says, ââ¬Å"Francis Flute, the bellows-mender? â⬠(I. ii. 34) tells the reader that none of the other actors take him seriously when he tells them a bout how great he is because Quince doesnââ¬â¢t even respond to him. Bottom also demonstrates several times throughout the play that he isnââ¬â¢t intelligent either. Shakespeare purposely makes him misuse words to demonstrate this. ââ¬Å"But I will aggravate my voice so I will roar you as gently as any sucking dove. â⬠(I. ii. 66-67) In these lines Bottom misuses the word ââ¬Å"aggravateâ⬠for ââ¬Å"moderateâ⬠. To most readers this may seem like a simple mistake but Shakespeare wouldnââ¬â¢t have included it had he not wanted to make a statement about Bottomââ¬â¢s intelligence, especially since he makes several of these mistakes whenever there is a scene with him in it. Even though Bottom might be a good looking character his ugly personality ruins it. Shakespeare didnââ¬â¢t give Bottom such an egoistic personality on accident. He did this so that when his head is turned into a head of an ass it would mirror it in a way. Shakespeare turning Bottomââ¬â¢s head into that of an ass is his way of personifying his personality and since Bottomââ¬â¢s personality is incredibly ugly, what better to represent it that an ass. ââ¬Å"Oh, monstrous! Oh, strange! We are haunted. Pray, masters! Fly masters! Fly, masters! Help! â⬠(III. i. 8-89) Quince says this when he sees Bottomââ¬â¢s head completely changed. Quince freaking out when he sees the new Bottom obviously shows the reader that he thinks it is an ugly change. Even though the actors find the change to be hideous, Titiana finds Bottoms to be irresistible. Even though she is under the influence of some of Cupidââ¬â¢s love juice, Shakespeare does this on purpose. ââ¬Å"I pray thee, gent le mortal, sing again. Mine ear is much enamored of thy note. So is mine eye enthralled to thy shape. And thy fair virtueââ¬â¢s force perforce doth move me. On the first view to say, to swear, I love thee. â⬠This quote demonstrates how much Titiana is in love with the appearance of Bottom. Bottomââ¬â¢s appearance is symbolism to how people can react to a change in someoneââ¬â¢s personality. Some people might see a change in someone and find it repulsive but others might see the change and immediately fall in love with it. Meanwhile the person experiencing the change might not even be aware of it, which is why the entire time that Bottom has the head of an ass he never once realizes it. There are so many messages that this one word creates for the reader and delivers one of the strongest messages of the entire book. Although there are many themes and messages to be pulled from A Midsummer Nightââ¬â¢s Dream, the number one most overlooked message is the use of the word ass to deliver to the reader themes about how a person changing can be good in the eyes of one person but terrible in the eyes of another. Bottom as a character represents this and Shakespeare used him to demonstrate this.

The Identification of Acids and Bases Using a Natural Indicator free essay sample
The purpose of this lab practice is to identify the pH of certain solutions and if they are acids or bases. Introduction: In chemistry, pH is a measure of the activity of the (solvated) hydrogen ion. p[H], which measures the hydrogen ion concentration, is closely related to, and is often written as, pH. Depending on the pH solutions will be acids or bases. An acid is a chemical compound that dissociates in solution, releasing hydrogen ions and lowering the solution pH (a proton donor). An acidic solution has a pH below 7. Acids can be strong acids which ionize completely in aqueous solution or weak acids which ionize partially. A base is a substance that combines with acids to form salts; a substance that dissociates to give hydroxide ions in aqueous solutions; a substance whose molecule or ion can combine with a proton (hydrogen ion); a substance capable of donating a pair of electrons (to an acid) for the formation of a coordinate covalent bond. We will write a custom essay sample on The Identification of Acids and Bases Using a Natural Indicator or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page Bases can be strong bases which are able to dissociate completely in water or weak bases which dissociate partially. In this practice we use natural indicators, which are pH indicators in the form of plant pigments known as antocyanines which change color over different pH ranges and depending on source for the pH. Neutralization is a chemical reaction in which a base and an acid react to form a salt. Materials: DroppersHidrion paperRed Cabbage indicatorMilkBleachYogurt Microplate| VinegarEasy OffMg (OH) WaterMuriatic acidBeakersDetergent S/M| Methods: 1. Open the dropper, put the ph strip inside the bottle, analyze the pH of the substance according to this table: . Put 5 drops on the microplate of each of the substances and 3 drops of the natural indicators and watch the change in the color. Results: | Hidrion Paper| Red cabbage indicator| Substance| Color| pH| Color| pH| Detergent S/M| | 9| GreenishBlue| 8-9| Yogurt| | 4| ReddishViolet| 5-6| Milk| | 7| Violet| 7| Water| | 7| Violet| 7| Mg(OH)| | 10| Greenish blue| 8-9| Muriatic acid| | 1| Red| 1-2| Easy Off| | 12| Blue| 10-11| Vinegar| | 1| Red| 1-2| Bleach| | 14| Yellow| 12-14| Analysis: The red cabbage is less reliable than the hidrion paper. Conclusions: Depending on the pH of the substance the hidrion paper will show certain colors and the change in color of the red cabbage also depends on the pH of the substance. Complementary task: 1. Explain what is and indicator A compound which changes color depending on the pH of the solution of which it is a part. 2. How are indicators produced? From plant extracts. 3. Mention 3 examples of acid-base indicators, including the range of pH at which they work and the observed colors. Use the following chart: Indicator| Color| pH Range| | Acid| Base| | Methyl Red| Yellow| Red| 4. 8-6. 0| Bromothymol Blue| Yellow| Blue| 6. 0-7. 6| Phenol Red| Yellow| Red| 6. 8-8. 4| 4. Investigate the real pH of the substances used in practice. Indicate if the substance is an acid, a base or if it is neutral. Final reflection: Knowing if a substance is an acid or a base is very important to prevent accidents of skins corrosion due to acids and to avoid mixing substances that may cause a lower pH. Acids and bases are present everyday since we eat yogurt for breakfast until we wash our clothes before going to sleep.
